Black History Month is celebrated annually in February in the U.S. It highlights the achievements of Black people throughout American history and their contributions to the nation's richness. Since 1976, every U.S. President has endorsed a yearly theme for Black History Month. In 2024, the focus will be on "African Americans and the Arts."
