Every year in April, we commemorate International Children's Book Day to encourage young people to develop a love for reading. This day was chosen to celebrate the birthday of the famous children's author Hans Christian Andersen. His fairy tales, such as The Ugly Duckling, The Princess and the Pea, and The Emperor's New Clothes, have captivated the hearts of generations. Children's books can transport readers to new worlds and introduce them to important themes as they grow.
