Rio de Janeiro, also known as the marvelous city, celebrated its 459th anniversary on March 1st. It is the most visited city in Brazil by foreigners, and since 2012, its urban landscape has been recognized as a "Cultural Heritage" of Humanity by UNESCO. Rio de Janeiro is famous for its iconic landmarks, such as "Cristo Redentor" and "Morros do Pão de Açúcar." Still, it is also a hub for cultural tourism, with approximately 128 museums throughout the city. The city is the birthplace of great names in literature, such as Machado de Assis and Millôr Fernandes. The Tucano is the symbol bird of Rio de Janeiro.
